# Competitor Teardown

## Inputs
Competitor name or site content, the user's own brand, market.

## Steps
1. Positioning: one-line promise, target customer, price point.
2. Offer: products, pricing tiers, guarantees, lead magnets.
3. Funnel: entry points (ads, SEO, social, partners), signup, nurture, checkout.
4. Content: top topics, formats, gaps they do not cover.
5. Weak spots: complaints, slow pages, missing features (cite the source of each).
6. Five plays the user can run to win, ranked by effort vs impact.

## Rules
- Separate facts (with source) from inferences. Label inferences.

How to install

Claude.ai (web and desktop)

1. Make a folder named competitor-teardown and save the file above inside it as SKILL.md.
2. Zip the folder.
3. Go to Settings, then Capabilities (or Customize, Skills, depending on your app version), and upload the zip. Code execution must be on.

Claude Code
